Well today is the last day of my Photo a Day project. I’ve really enjoyed capturing the girls this month and they are already some of my favourite images.

This image I must say is definitely a favourite. Em completely and totally adores her big sister and it is so lovely to see even thought Em has only been around 3 months, that they are going to be great friends

I hope you’ve enjoyed our January Photo a Day journey as much as I have, and again I urge you to try it yourself!

Happy Australia Day everyone! It was stinking hot here today so we spent the morning inside in the air con because it was just too hot outside. It cooled down a little this afternoon and Ash decided to put her swimmers on and jump on the trampoline with the sprinkler on it to cool off. We consumed a very aussie menu today, hot chip sandwiches for lunch and snags on the bbq for dinner. I hope everyone enjoyed their day off and didn’t get too roasted by that sun!

Kids these days! Ash LOVES my iphone and is constantly playing games or watching videos. I still have a giggle when she explains to adults how to do things on it. Tech savvy 3 year olds, who woulda thought!

Ash loves to dance and twirl and without fail every day I get a request to put a “dancing dress” on. This afternoon when she decided it was dancing time wwe went outside so she could twirl to her heart’s delight!

While she may not be able to read just yet, that doesn’t stop Ash telling you a story. The stories she comes up with will have me laughing one minute then thinking “where the heck did she learn that???” the next!!! Never a dull moment with this kiddo around that’s for sure!

This afternoon I went and had a jump on the trampoline with Ash. She decided to have a little rest so I told her I would take her photo while she was lying down, but she also had to take a photo of me with her invisible hand camera!

This is what happens while I am mopping. Great reason not to do housework don’t you think? Ash thought it was super duper amazing naturally. She soon changed her tune when she had to put them all away. Suddenly she felt very tired and needed to go lay down on the lounge for a bit of a rest. She is the queen of excuses!!!
