Our first stop was Boarding House dam but after about 5 minutes of walking we discovered we had stumbled upon what was obviously leech heaven! The horrid little things were everywhere including our shoes so we hot-stepped it back to the car as fast as our little legs would carry us.

We stopped at a few lookouts including Maclean lookout where I took the shot below. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best but it was still a spectacular view.

On our way out I still had my camera in my lap when we came across this little guy. He was waddling across the road so I jumped out and grabbed a pic. He wasn’t too keen on having his photo taken though, as soon as he heard me he curled up into a ball!
