We had the most awesome weather on Sunday, it really felt like summer again! I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon shooting the beautiful Ashlee for her portfolio in and around the Newcastle beaches. As you can see she is completely gorgeous!

PLEASE NOTE SHOOT WILL TAKE PLACE IN NEWCASTLE, NSW. IF YOU ARE UNWILLING TO TRAVEL HERE PLEASE DO NOT APPLY

I am currently looking for 3 lovely ladies to cast as the faces of my new Boudoir and Glamour side of my Photography business. All shapes and sizes are encouraged to apply, you definitely don’t need to be a size 8! There will be no nudity however you will be required to wear lingerie. All shoots will be very classy and tasteful. If you or someone you know may be interested in becoming one of my Boudoir faces, please email me on info@kristybradford.com.au

Please also include a couple of recent images of yourself. Applicants must be over the age of 18 to enter.

If you are selected as one of my Boudoir faces you will be treated to a professional photoshoot with professional hair and makeup, along with a CD of high resolution fully edited images from your shoot. Whilst this is not a paying job I am often required to source models for commercial jobs and am very happy to pass along details of models I know and have previously worked with. Stunning Sarah :: Newcastle Model Photographer

On Saturday I made my way up to beautiful Port Stephens to shoot the start of Sarah’s portfolio. The weather held out for us and turned on the sun… it also turned on the wind but we managed to avoid the full brunt of it by deciding to shoot at Shoal Bay which was a lot more sheltered.

Sarah was fantastic and as you can see looked amazing in her white Seafolly bikini. Thanks to Danielle Hampton for her lovely makeup as always!

So back in August I was lucky enough to attend a fantastic workshop up in QLD with some BRILLIANT mentors. I also got to meet like-minded photographers who were just fantastic aswell. I never got round to adding any of the pics I took up there on my blog so I thought I would finally do it!

To Nichole Van, you my dear are an absolute treasure. SO giving, so extremely talented, and just a fabulous lady. To Zack Arias… WOW. I got SO much out of the short time we had with you and I sincerely thank you for that. To Joey L, well you are an inspiration. I can not wait to see what you captured in Indonesia, I know it will be amazing.

NEWCASTLE FASHION PHOTOGRAPHER :: REVERB MAGAZINE SHOOT

A week or so ago I had the absolute pleasure of shooting some great models in some fab clothes. The shoot was for a double page spread in REVERB magazine featuring clothing from Newcastle Boutique Who’s Yoko?

A huge thanks to Wade Ambler for providing the fantastic hair and make-up for the shoot, and to models Josie (Scene Models) and Dan (Sass & Bentley). You guys rocked it!

Somersby Falls with my new toy :: Newcastle Model Photographer

As I mentioned in my last post I recently got a new camera. It was delivered early Friday morning a fortnight ago and I was keen as mustard to try it out. Lucky for me some friends were shooting a few models at Somersby Falls on the Central Coast that day. Bad news for me was I had to go to my accountant in Sydney! As it was on the way I stopped in for around half an hour and grabbed a few shots. I was VERY impressed with the capabilities of my new toy and can’t wait for a full shoot to really put it through it’s paces.

Here are a couple of shots I grabbed of Monique while I was there.

On Monday I had the pleasure of shooting the lovely Brooke in and around Honeysuckle on Newcastle Foreshore. It was a promo shoot for an upcoming Charity Fashion Parade to be held later in the year. A big thanks to Louise for co-ordinating everything. We had some gorgeous frocks from local designer Alyse Hemson of a.shai designs that were a hit with the locals (particularly the short black number!). A big thanks to Vic Anderson (makeup artist) and Christie Howe (hair stylist) for making Brooke look even more fabulous!
